Besides this, ZWEF is a licensee of OERLIKON – Switzerland, one of the world’s pioneers in the field of welding. Using Oerlikon technology and trade name, ZWEF manufactures a range of Oerlikon products for the Saudi Arabian and G.C.C. market. From the year 2005 ZWEF has also started manufacturing welding consumables under his own brand name ZULFI.
Zulfi Welding Electrodes Factory is an ISO 9002 certified company, which under one roof manufactures a range of 3 different brands of welding electrodes. The commonly used electrodes have product approvals from Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Bureau Veritas (BV) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV). Recently ZWEF has obtained the rare distinction of getting two of its products ZULFI E 7018 * E 7018-1 approved by all the above bureaus for the grade 5Y40H5 which is a world first
ZWEF products are used extensively by major companies in every Industrial City of Saudi Arabia as well as ZWEF is approved vendor for many companies like ARAMCO, Qatar petroleum, Oman petroleum, ASRY, Dubai Drydocks, SABIC GROUP, Consolidated Contractors Co. most Cement Factories and many major private organizations.
Zulfi Welding Electrodes Factory has exclusive distributors in all G.C.C. countries where products are supplied on regular basis and ZWEF also exports to Jordan, Syria, Yemen , Lebanon, India, Azerbaijan, Sudan.
